September's reunion at the school was attended by around 1000 ex-pupils and staff - some from as far away as Canada and Dubai. The Reunion Page has more details, including a link to Chris Armfield's video documentary.

We have some great new photos of trips to Mt. Snowden from Geoffrey Tomlinson who taught PE at Longlands in the early 60's. They show Mr Gavin Goulson (History teacher) and many so-far unnamed pupils. We would be grateful for any names.

We have also recently added a fascinating article, by the respected local historian H Jack Haden, on the foundation and building of the school in 1911-2.

Julia Barnett and Carl Mildner have also kindly supplied some new names for pupils in the 1970s and Feeder Schools galleries. We have many other images including those of trips, school events, reunions and, of course, class photos. Thanks to everyone for sending them in.

We also need more photos from the September 2011 reunion. Please continue sending them in!
